DAY 1: 7.00 am – 7.30 am Pick up from your hotel and start of our tour in private transportation.
Along the way, we will enjoy a view over the Arequipa’s emblematic volcanoes: El Misti (5825 meters) and Chachani (6057 meters). Continuing our journey, we will cross the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
We will make another stop in Patapampa, the highest point of our journey, also known as the Mirador de los Volcanes situated at 4910 m.
The next stop is Toccrapampa, where you can observe the herds of llamas and alpacas. You can also see some exotic birds.
We head down towards Chivay (3650 meters), capital of the province and access door to the Colca Valley.
10.30 am Stop in Chivay to eat something (optional).
11.00 am Continuing on our journey on the left bank of the Colca river to get to Cabanaconde.
We will stop at the Mirador de Antahuilque where you can see pre-Inca terraces.
1.30 pm Arrival to our restaurant La Granja (situated at 5 minutes from the Cruz del Cóndor) to enjoy a delicious lunch.
La Granja del Colca is situated at the edge of the Colca Canyon. You will enjoy beautiful landscapes, see farming fields and observe pets such as guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks, gooses, alpacas, sheeps, cows and ponies. You will also enjoy the fabulous flight of the condors, watch other birds such as the eagle, the falcon or the famous giant hummingbird of the Colca.
3.30 pm Departure to Cabanaconde.
4.00 pm Arrival to Cabanaconde. Trekking till the Mirador de Achachigua (situated at 20 minutes from Cabanaconde). From this natural mirador you can see the depth of the Colca Canyon, the Andes, the Sangallle Oasis and the villages inside the canyon.
5.30 pm Arrival and accommodation in the Kuntur Wassi hotel (3 stars).
6.30 pm Optional photo session at the hotel with traditional dress of Cabanaconde.
7.00 pm Tourist dinner in the hotel.

Day 2: 6.30 am – 7.00 am Breakfast at the hotel.
7.30 am We head towards the mirador Cruz del Condor, one of the main lookout points of the Colca Canyon. We stay around 30 minutes to appreciate the majestic flight of the Andean condor.
8.30 am Continuing on our way, we will pass through the villages of Achoma, Maca and Yanque.
We will stop for 30 minutes in Maca to appreciate the beautiful church and buy souvenirs.
10.30 am Arrival to the village of Yanque to visit the archaeological site of Uyo Uyo (situated at 25 minutes from the main square of Yanque). This settlement was a citadel of the Collaguas culture (1 hour walking in total).
11.30 am We continue on to Chivay where you can enjoy the hot springs of La Calera (1 hour).
1.00 pm Lunch buffet in Chivay.
2.30 pm Return trip to Arequipa.
6.30 pm Arrival to Arequipa.
